Review This: Madewell's Woodside Sweater Shorts

I got these shorts a while ago and thought I'd review them here. They are very, very comfortable and warm. With tights, they are perfect. They're a nice fit -- not too tight, but definitely snug so they don't hang too loosely which would look funny.

I wear them without the belt with a cute top and tights and it looks pretty good. If you're into the tights and shorts look, I'd say go for it.

Review This: Madewell's Ribbon Parade Cardigan

I just ordered this yesterday, and am way excited. The Ribbon Parade Cardigan is way cute, feminine, but still cool.

Take a bow: The charming accents on this cardigan are nothing less than cool. Merino wool in a 14-gauge knit. Fitted. V-neck. Long sleeves. Hits at hip. Import. Dry clean. Madewell.com only.

UPDATE: I got this, and I totally love it. It looks basically exactly how it looks in the picture (color, sizing, etc. is the same). The bows are just perfect. I highly recommend it!

Review This: Madewell's Cotswold Cardigan

Has anyone tried on this piece on? It's so distinctive, I totally love it. It's $150 (on sale until 12/5 for $112), described as being:

Rich with chunky knit texture and a cool asymmetrical cut. Wool in a 3-gauge knit. Crewneck. Long sleeves. Slash pockets. Hits at hip. Import. Dry clean.

It looks great on the model, but I'd be interested in how well it fares in real life, or after some wear. Probably not a piece you could wear very often, definitely more of a statement piece.

UPDATE: the dress is cute -- the material is less high quality than I'd expected, but the cut is good. It's a little loose, but the neck is cut wider so it's somewhat more fashionable. It's definitely good if you want to look casual-chic with a pair of tights.
